PamagieRA are Henning Schmiedt, the pianist and Volker Schlott the saxophonist. The musicians meets since years in different projects, in the band Taksim around the turkish female singer Sema or at the work with Mikis Theodorakis and Maria Farantouri. Since 1995 PAmagieRA exists - a type of instrumental, contemporary chamber music with european roots. The duo Schmiedt/Schlott is the base. Constant musical travel companion is the percussionist Uli Moritz. On the second CD 'Okanagan' they worked also together with Daniel Gioa, Martin Lillich and Jörg Huke, which go with them on the fictitious, fantasy-full, sparkling journey.
